For Nicholi's delicate surgery Thursday

Please pray for 37yo Nicholi. Due to a childhood injury, he needs surgery to repair (replace?) his entire urethra this Thursday. His family (wife, son, parents, siblings) are all rallying to his side and asking for our prayers.

Loving Father, we entrust Nicholi to your care on Thursday; guide with wisdom and skill the minds and hands of the medical people who minister in your Name, and grant that every cause of illness be removed, so that he may be restored to soundness of health and learn to live in more perfect harmony with you and with those around him. Prayers said for a successful surgery and quick as possible recovery. Good to hear he is surrounded by a supportive family. Prayers for the family as well for strength.

Plese protect Nicholi during his time in the hospital and guide the hands of his caregivers (doctors, nurses, etc) to be loving and healing. I ask this in Your name Jesus. Amen

look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,

Think, O God, of our friend Nicholi who is ill, whom we now commend to Your compassionate regard.
Comfort him upon his sickbed, and ease his suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord, if it be His will.
We therefore pray that You bless our friend with Your loving care, renew his strength, and heal what ails him in Your loving name.

Heavenly Father, look with kindness and mercy upon your precious child. Use this moment of his life to draw Nicholi and his family ever closer to Your most Sacred Heart. Jesus, we trust in You!

Thanks to all of you who posted prayers, and all of you who read the post and prayed.

Nicholi’s surgery took about 8 hours and his doctor said, although it was the worst case he had ever seen, Nicholi’s prognosis is very good – thanks be to God!

We give you thanks for all thy benefits, Almighty God, who lives and reigns forever. Amen.
