He was saved by some fairly heroic medicine, but he sustained damage to his large intestine which may cause problems later on. Also, he has depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, so he really needs our prayers.
 
Please heal that man Father God. I pray he be a light in the dark for those oppressed. May Jesus fill him with His Holy Spirit if he isn’t yet filled with the Holy Spirit. In Your name Father God and in the name of Your Son Jesus and in the name of The Holy Spirit. Amen.

Prayer for Healing

Almighty and eternal God,
Watch over Oh*, a brave Northern Korean soldier who
was shot while defecting to the South. Bless the Southern
and U.S. soldiers who rushed to Oh’s aid. And bless the medical
personnel who are treating Oh from his shooting
wounds and the dreadful medical conditions he was
suffering before his escape. Protect all North Koreans
who wish to defect with the shield of Your strength.
Dear Lord, keep them safe from all evil and harm.
May the power of Your love enable Oh to live in safety.
May he ever praise You for Your loving care.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. ✝️
