For our cat Mordin Please Pray

Our cat Mordin has somehow strained /sprained his hind leg :sad_yes: The vet has given him medication for 5 days .Please can I ask for you all to pray for our little Mordin. That he make a very speedy recovery and feel better in himself. This is day 2 on medication.

Heavenly Father,
Please help us in our time of need,
You have made us stewards of (Mordin).
If it is Your will, please restore him
to health and strength.
I pray too for other animals in need.
May they be treated with the care and respect
deserving of all Your creation.
Blessed are You Lord God,
and holy is Your name for ever and ever

Heavenly Father, our human ties with our friends of other species are wonderful and special gifts from You. We now ask You to grant our special animal companions your Fatherly care and healing power to take away any suffering they have. Give us, their human friends, new understanding of our responsibilities to these creatures of Yours. They have trust in us as we have in You; our souls and theirs are on this earth together to give one another friendship, affection, and caring. Take our heartfelt prayers and fill Your ill or suffering animals with healing Light and strength to overcome whatever weakness of body they have: that Mordin the cat makes a quick recovery from his sprained leg

Your goodness is turned upon every living thing and Your grace flows to all Your creatures. From our souls to theirs goodness flows, touching each of us with the reflection of Your love. Grant to our special animal companions long and healthy lives. Give them good relationships with us, and if You see fit to take them from us, help us to understand that they are not gone from us, but only drawing closer to You. Grant our prayer through the intercession of good St. Gertrude of Nivelles, who honored You through all Your creatures. Give her the power to watch over our animal friends until they are safely with You in eternity, where we someday hope to join them in giving You honor forever. Amen.

St. Francis, pray for us and for the wellness of our pets.
 
Poor kitty. They do get themselves into such strange predicaments.

Do keep you eye on Mordin, as it is possible for Mordin to get an infection from this. Our cat “Squirt” (AKA Curtis), had a muscle injury from getting stuck in a window and developed a serious infection as a result. He made it, but he was horribly sick for a couple of weeks.

I do hope Mordin does well. “Squirt sends his kitty prayers too.” 😉

I am so sorry Squirt your little cat went through this and the infection too. Poor little soul. I’m so glad he’s ok now.

Please keep Mordin in your prayers, you are all in mine. Thankyou once again.

UPDATE *********************************

Early this morning Mordin was licking his leg, there was a sore there that we hadn’t seen before.Went to vets first thing. It is an absess. He had been misdiagnosed but I’m just so grateful it was discovered in time. He will be on meds daily for the next two weeks and a morning and evening hibiscrub wash. He’s also got to wear the coned collar bless his dear little heart.

I really want to thank each and everyone of you for your heartfelt prayers, Needs Mercy, Tawny, Captain Rick, Wild Thing, Cricket2 ,244 Rocket, Polly Lodges ,njilsa, Cheezey & Zonell.
I hope you don’t mind me asking but please can you continue to keep Mordin in your prayers. You are all in mine too.
