My wife and I today found out that we’re having a little girl. 🙂

Please pray for our little unborn baby and for the rest of my wife’s pregnancy.

I thought having a Step daughter would be different,
Dainty delicate little thing I thought, WRONG ,no different to a boy,
A child is like a small candle lighting up the room, enjoy,

Prayer to St. Monica

Lord Jesus, you were moved by the prayers and tears of St. Monica
and you gave the grace of conversion to St. Augustine your son.
Touch our hearts and convert us from fear to love,
from sickness to health and from conflict to peace of mind.
Bless all mothers, living or dead, known or unknown,
married, single or widowed.
May our lives draw others to love you.
Lord, it was at your altar that Saint Monica wanted to be remembered.
May we also have the heart of St. Monica to persevere with faith in all our trials.
Amen.
