For our gravely ill puppy Kevin

I have 3 young children. I bought them this puppy, a Morkie who they named Kevin, after grandpa died in March. We all needed something to pour ourselves into and something to love. The thought that we are facing more grief and more loss is beyond words. I know it is a dog, but ya’ll this is overwhelming.

He has been hospitalized since Wednesday with HGE (Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis) which is vomiting and bloody diarrhea. He has made some progress but it is still touch and go. The vet says it can go either way.

Please pray the he can survive the weekend and start drinking and eating on his own SOON. I cannot afford to keep him on IV’s at the 24 hour pet hospital. But I can’t just let him die. This is so difficult.

Praying to Jesus and St. Francis of Assisi, that your puppy will begin to eat and drink on his own very soon.
 
Aw, so hope that Kevin pulls through for you and the kids.

And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal Kevin. You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Kevin’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
