For our priest

Would appreciate you joining in prayers for our wonderful (and sole) parish priest. He injured his knee during the Easter Vigil and this morning he could hardly walk, due to the swelling and pain. He’d been unable to put on proper shoes and was hobbling in his sandals.

He made light of his affliction at early Mass, but we could all see that he was really struggling. At the time, he still had the main Mass to come and then 6 baptisms after that!

I pray that he gets some relief and well-deserved rest during the coming week, he’s much-loved by his parishioners. Thank you all.
