Please pray for my mental peace as I have various forms of OCD including scrupulosity.

Also pray for my discernment and acceptance of God’s will for me, especially regarding whether or not I should be a nun.

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Thanks for your prayers ❤️ . I don’t know if I’m actually called to be a nun. I’ve wanted that since I became Christian, but no such thing existed among Protestants. I still feel kind of drawn to that, but I also want children and to be married at times. Plus I have nymphomania which makes me think that maybe I wouldn’t be a good fit to be a nun 😟 but I also worry that maybe I won’t be a good mom and no one would love me 😔. I’m not sure what the right decision is. I have OCD, so I can ruminate over these things all day and never have peace wondering what the will of God is for me. I’ll trust Him to lead me to the right thing at the right time.
 
God will talk to your soul…We are all sinners even nuns.

O Lady of Mental Peace,

Mother of Tranquility

and Mother of Hope,

look upon yahwehsdaughter in this time

of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart

to know that God’s Love

for her is unchanging and

unchangeable, and, that

true human love can only

begin and grow by touching

His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -

which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
And, help her to bring this

same Peace into the lives

I just want to thank everyone for praying for me. Your prayers and intentions were very effective and heard by God. I would randomly feel peace washing over me while I was sitting alone and then check this website and see that someone prayed for me at the exact moment that I started feeling peace.

I was up very late last night and for some reason I had a revelation that I should be a nun. I don’t think I was ruminating over it when I had the revelation because I had pretty much decided I’m probably not going to be a nun for a few personal reasons. But I was praying “the gospel prayer” and randomly started thinking about it, and when I was thinking “no, I can’t give up all these wordly things I love,” I refocused on my praying and was at the part that goes “Your presence and approval are all I need for everlasting joy”. Something sparked at that moment and realized I can be a nun and I do want to. I feel that God led me to the order I should join last night, but I won’t be able to join until 2 years after my conversion, and I haven’t converted yet. I will prepare myself in the meantime for that calling.

@aroosi, it was the exact time that you prayed last night that I accepted God’s call for me to be a nun.

All our prayers matter. Even 1 Hail Mary. You never know what God is doing for someone the moment you take a second to say a quick prayer ❤️🙏.
