For Pilgrim Elaine Who Went to ER

Please pray for Pilgrim Elaine, a fellow CAF member, who went to ER yesterday evening. I know that she was released from the ER very early this morning and is supposed to see a doctor for a follow-up visit today. May whatever is wrong be properly diagnosed, and Elaine receive effective treatment and healing. Let us pray in the name of Jesus.

Pilgrim Elaine has returned from the doctor and, while the situation is not life-threatening, she could still really use your prayers, especially now.

She is taking her diagnosis and doing her best to conform it to God’s Will.

Continued prayers for healing, comfort, and easing of symptoms and stress for Elaine will be most welcome and appreciated.

Know that you are all in my prayers. Pilgrim Elaine also prays much for others, as the Lord directs her.

Healing Lord, Please help Elaine with her illness. Send her whatever support she may need at this time and strengthen her. Guide her doctors to assist her needs. We ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. AMEN
 
Update:

Continued prayers would be GREATLY appreciated, because Pilgrim Elaine is really not feeling well. She has not been feeling well all day, and this is a holiday weekend. She really needs a specialist, of the sort that the typical ER does not provide … That said, she may need to stay open to the possibility of returning to ER … at any time … based on her overall condition.

I am sorry that I am not providing specific details of her health, but please know that her condition definitely warrants extra special prayer.

She is truly grateful for any prayers said.

And I am keeping everyone here in my prayers as well.

Deacon Ed B, SweetHart, Vito Joseph, and everyone else who has been praying that I’ve mentioned in an earlier post:

Thank you so much for your prayerful support. It means so much to Pilgrim Elaine. I’ve told her that people here are praying and she is SO GRATEFUL.

Her health is about the same as yesterday, and still something needing to be carefully watched in case she needs to get immediate help after hours.

She can definitely still use prayers, because she is still not feeling well, and is waiting to see a regular doctor.

You will be in my prayers as well.

Adding details because Pilgrim Elaine has now given me permission to speak more freely about her situation.

Here’s a quote from her:

“You can tell prayer thread that I am on standby for ER for eyes and lungs with inflammation. Ask for prayer for inflammation to decrease & keep my eyes, for they don’t think is migraine with this inflammation… and for rides.”

Pilgrim Elaine is supposed to have another doctor’s appointment today. Her condition remains the same, as in, she continues to feel ill and would be TREMENDOUSLY GRATEFUL for the gift of our prayers for her.
