I am the VP for Knights for Life, my high school’s pro life club. We have had a VERY inactive, almost tragic, year.

I want to do way more next year. The leadership needs more cohesion, more unity, more friendship, and more PASSION for their purpose.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE pray really hard for God to send the club good officers for next year. Thanks!!!

God Bless 🙂

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. *Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen

I hear you, I was on the executive boards of several clubs in high school and I get how hard it is to accomplish anything. You may be ambitious and have great ideas, but it all flops if you cannot get anyone on board. I will pray for you. I am also secretary for my college’s branch of Students for Life. If you want, you can PM me if you want some ideas on what to do next year. Some of what we do can be applied to the high school level.

will pray for you!

Sub Tuum Praesidium Under Thy Protection

We fly to thy protection, O holy Mother of God,
despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers,
O glorious and blessed Virgin.
Amen.

My prayers go out to you. I, too, am going to be an officer in my college’s Respect for Life Club next year, and participation is definitely dwindling.

May God bless you and the pro-life movement always! 🙂

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Prayer for Joyful Fidelity to our Mission

(by Fr. Frank Pavone)

Lord God,
We thank you for our salvation in Jesus Christ.

We thank you for the call he gives us –
Not a call to sit in a corner cowering in fear over our enemies,
Mystified about how to overcome the Culture of Death,
Despondent because of our sins,
Or worried about the perceived political strength of our opponents.

Rather, it is a call to stand victorious in the light of the Resurrection
And to proclaim to the Culture of Death:
“You have been conquered!
You have no place here,
No power to defeat the forces of truth and goodness!”

Yes, Lord, we stand in that light
And we are filled with joy –
Not a superficial joy that rises and falls
With the ebb and flow of circumstances beyond our control,
But with the profound joy
That only you can give
And that nobody can take away.

In the strength of that joy,
May we your people continue to proclaim your truth
And share your grace
Not only within the walls of our Churches,
But in the halls of government,
In the voting booth,
In the media,
And in every inch of the public square.

Lord, in our work for you, may we find you.
In our efforts to change the world, may we ourselves be changed.
In our struggle to build a Culture of Life, may we find life eternal.

We pray through Christ our Lord.
