Lord God, please protect the unborn children… May they be treasured and loved always by their parents… AMEN.

Prayer to End Abortion

Lord God, I thank you today for the gift of my life,
And for the lives of all my brothers and sisters.
I know there is nothing that destroys more life than abortion,
Yet I rejoice that you have conquered death by the Resurrection of Your Son.
I am ready to do my part in ending abortion.
Today I commit myself
Never to be silent,
Never to be passive,
Never to be forgetful of the unborn.
I commit myself to be active in the pro-life movement,
And never to stop defending life
Until all my brothers and sisters are protected,
And our nation once again becomes
A nation with liberty and justice
Not just for some, but for all,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen!

Loving God,

Your son Jesus taught us to love and to pray through the beatitudes as a model for how we should live out our Christian lives. Please bless us, grant us wisdom, have mercy on us as we sometimes stray from the desires you have for us, and help us to pray feverishly and with great effect for this intention. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Bless these children of yours who never have the opportunity to live out their earthly lives, and bless those who grieve and mourn for them. Please send your loving Holy Spirit to soften and change the hardened hearts of so many people who do not understand and appreciate the evil that is abortion. Please guide and lead the political leaders of our country so the rights and dignity of our unborn will be respected and will be preserved by our laws and practices.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

to you do we entrust the cause of life
Look down, O Mother,

of babies not allowed to be born,

Almighty God, father of humanity, have mercy, for the agony of millions of tiny dying babies calls out to You. Please let the painful silent scream of each of those innocent children obtain from You an end to this endless slaughter. Angels of God please welcome aborted infants’ souls with great joy and ceremony…because on earth they were not received with joy and love and their precious, lives were stolen from them. Angels please sing them into the presence of God who created with infinite love. Allow these innocents to plead for their parents and this world with their faultless purity. Glorify Yourself in them, by allowing them in some special way to work for the coming of Your kingdom.
