Loving God,

Your son Jesus taught us to love and to pray through the beatitudes as a model for how we should live out our Christian lives. Please bless us, grant us wisdom, have mercy on us as we sometimes stray from the desires you have for us, and help us to pray feverishly and with great effect for this intention. Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the land. Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be satisfied. Bless these children of yours who never have the opportunity to live out their earthly lives, and bless those who grieve and mourn for them. Please send your loving Holy Spirit to soften and change the hardened hearts of so many people who do not understand and appreciate the evil that is abortion. Please guide and lead the political leaders of our country so the rights and dignity of our unborn will be respected and will be preserved by our laws and practices.

We pray in the name of your beloved son, our Lord Jesus, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God for ever and ever.

***Lord God, Author of Life and Source of Eternal Life,
Move the hearts of all our public officials and especially our President, to fulfill their responsibilities worthily and well to all those entrusted to their care.
Help them in their special leadership roles, to extend the mantle of protection to the most vulnerable, especially the defenseless unborn, whose lives are threatened with extermination by an indifferent society.
Guide all public officials by your wisdom and grace to cease supporting any law that fails to protect the fundamental good that is human life itself, which is a gift from God and parents.
You are the Protector and Defender of the lives of the innocent unborn. Change the hearts of those who compromise the call to protect and defend life. Bring our nation to the values that have made us a great nation, a society that upholds the values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for all.
Mary, the Mother of the living, help us to bear witness to the Gospel of Life with our lives and our laws, through Christ, Our Lord.

Jesus I trust in You to end the agony of thousands of children, dying every day — as You taught in Psalm 139; Ten Days in the Womb when John the Baptist 6 months on the earth in the womb leaped for Joy;
and many Holy Scriptures like Ephesians 2:10, “We are His workmanship created for good works in Christ.” And in the Garden of Agony Your Soul suffered unto death;
Near death experiences show the truth that we have soul filled consciousness apart from the body and brain activity;
since joy; You Are Like us in ALL things but sin, and at 10 days born into Human Life at the instant of conception; Thou accepted the Worship of Zachariah, Elizabeth, John The Baptist, and The Blessed Virgin Mary — and The Community of saints — since You Knew these things with Joy;
children, boys & girls born into human life at the moment of conception,
experience God given joy when welcome, by parents, family, community, and the whole world;
and likewise they experience sorrow when not welcomed;
and no matter how tiny from the instant of conception;
they experience intense agony that is so tremendously excruciating at the time just before there body becomes heinously vilely ripped from their soul; the cry the cry of a helpless blameless person from Psalm 22; “My God, My God, why has Thou abandoned me!!!?”
and the righteous who do all they can for these neighbor who should not concentrate at all on the intellectual discussion of The Sanctity of Life and abortion — but with faith, hope, and charity & reason; have true emotion.
WE rejoice, O Lord, like the Good Samaritan, that those who do everything they are able for their neighbor, inherits Eternal LIfe.

***O Mary, Mother of Jesus and Mother of us all, we turn to you today as the one who said “Yes” to Life. “You will conceive and bear a Son,” the angel told you. Despite the surprise and the uncertainty about how this could be, you said yes. “Be it done unto me according to your word.”

Mary, we pray today for all mothers who are afraid to be mothers. We pray for those who feel threatened and overwhelmed by their pregnancy. Intercede for them, that God may give them the grace to say yes and the courage to go on. May they have the grace to reject the false solution of abortion. May they say with you, “Be it done unto me according to your word.” May they experience the help of Christian people, and know the peace that comes from doing God’s will. Amen.
