Adding my prayers to yours. In my case, I had a discussion with a young Catholic man in my parish who alleged that contraception is a good thing. As we discussed the issue I could see that he mistrusted the Church and thought that he made more intelligent decisions on his own without any interference from the Church!

Lord, help all those baptized to see that your holy, spotless bride holds and safeguards your truth. Help us, when we disagree with that truth to pray for the grace of seeing the reasons behind it rather than stubbornly grasping to our own flawed ideas.
