The world has many people in it who believe that when they first read The Bible, they were reading something nobody else had bothered to read before.

Starting one in an upper room would be bettrer than starting one in a basement.

I think the world has been there, done that. Not nearly novel enough

Our society accepts it and while I am sure there are probably a higher percentage of Catholics who do not use birth control

Then in my opinion, you are much more Catholic (no insult intended) than Catholics who will not apply the Catholic Church’s “difficult” teachings to their own lives.

But as the father of a lot of kids, don’t you find the whole perfect 2.1-kids-per-family thing sad ?
