Please pray for D. that God helps him to turn away from his bad temper and whipping tongue, helps him realize how his tongue does damage to other people. I pray that God would grant him repentance, helps him turn away from that.Thank you and may God bless you.

May the Holy Spirit guide D’s thoughts and actions.
Dear Lord give D the strength to resist all temptations, In Jesus Name. Amen

Praying for the the Holy Spirit’s urging in D’s temperament and that he be brought to repentence. [BIBLEDRB][/BIBLEDRB]

My favorite for this human fault we all have, is to ask the Holy Spirit to show us ourselves, make us aware of how we hurt those around us.

My husband gets very snappy, and sarcastic even. It hurts, but I say this prayer, and insert the name of those I pray the Holy Spirit enlightens them so they see their faults…

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of we the faithful, all Gods children. Enkindle in our hearts the fire of your LOVE. Send us your spirit, our hearts will be renewed, and you shall renew the face of the earth,
amen.

By St. Teresa of Avila (changed to D from me)
O my God! Source of all mercy! I acknowledge Your sovereign power. While
recalling the wasted years that are past, I believe that You, Lord, can in an instant
turn this loss into gain. Miserable as I am, yet I firmly believe that You can do all
things. Please restore to D the time lost, giving D Your grace, both now and in
the future, that D may appear before You in “wedding garments”.
Amen

St. Michael the archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against
the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly
pray, and do thou O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the Power of God,
cast into hell satan, and all the evil spirits who prowl throughout the world,
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us;
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us;
St. Joseph our protector, pray for us.
Amen

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Thank you kindly for all your prayers.
NHeath, thank you for your words. I pray that God bless you all.

Lord please fill and surround all concerned in Your light and love.

It does hurt, I know. My husband was like that. Prayers and kind patience can have the desired response, eventually. There was a time when I used to cry privately almost every day. At least it means we have to make extraordinary effort to be good Christians ourselves which is probably what God is trying to achieve in us. It’s easy to be our best if others are being their best person.

My husband, so angry, unaffectionate, and critical in early years,
is now gentle, affectionate, respectful, and kind.
I thank God and pray that someday you will have cause to thank God.
