My brother and his girlfriend are having a baby (obviously the situation is not ideal). She has type one diabetes, so she’s considered high-risk. She spent most of today getting sick and her pulse was very, very high. She’s in labor now.

Please pray that everything goes well, that A’s labor goes smooth and easy with no complications, and that my little niece C is born healthy. Also please pray for S (my brother).

Said two prayers before I even started writing this, and will continue to pray for A, C and S. May everything go well.
 
Remember oh most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence I fly unto thee oh Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To thee I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. Oh Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Saint Raphael the Archangel, holy patron of good health, pray for A to have a safe and healthy labor and delivery of her baby. Amen.

Saint Ulric, holy patron against birth complications, please pray that A would have a safe and healthy labor and delivery of her baby. Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
Prayer: O Great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of your meek and humble Savior, and devoted Child of the Mother of God: enkindle within my heart one spark of that heavenly fire of charity which glowed in your heart and made you an angel of love. O glorious Saint Gerard, because when falsely accused of crime, you did bear, like your Divine master, without murmur or complaint, the calumnies of wicked men, you have been raised up by God as the Patron and Protector of expectant mothers. Preserve me from danger and from the excessive pains accompanying childbirth, and shield the child which I now carry, that it may see the light of day and receive the lustral waters of baptism through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

look upon this woman in her labour and guide her through her pain to the joy of delivering a new life into this world!

Update: they sent her home last night since labor had stopped. At her regular appointment today they found the baby’s heartbeat to be 90, so they’ve taken her by ambulance to the hospital. She is 37 weeks pregnant.

Thank you for your prayers, please keep praying!
 
Will say a Rosary as soon as I finish typing this.
God be with her and the baby, and I will keep praying hard for them.
 
Lord, please protect this baby. Help his/her mother to be strong when in delivery and help her to give birth to this child. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer. Amen.
