Please pray for this sweet, kindhearted 23 year old young man in his third year of struggling with schizophrenia. Pray that somehow, his heart and mind may be softened and opened to receiving the medication and therapy he needs.

Please pray for his parents, with whom he lives, and his siblings and family who love him dearly.

St. Joseph, pray for us!
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death!

Such a heavy cross, it goes on and on, it seems. Praying… and really hoping for a cure for this terrible affliction.

Protected by your coming, O Mother of God, well-believing people solemnly celebrate today. Gazing upon your immaculate image they humbly say: “Watch over us with your noble protection and deliver us from all evil by asking your Son, Christ our God, to save our souls.” (Troparion)

St. Dymphna please help Samuel and all who are suffering from mental illnesses and all of those who love them.

:blessyou:

Thank you, all, for your prayers.

Those of you with some familiarity with this disease may know how dark and wide the valley can seem, both to the afflicted person as well as to those who love him or her. We will just keep praying them up the mountaintop!

Dear Stephanie…I suffer Bipolar Disorder which is second to Schizophrenia. For 20 years I was in and out of hospital at least 6-8 times a year. 10 years ago things suddenly turned towards the better and I am now an APlus student on an adult campus (2004 awarded Outstanding Student).
There can indeed be alife after mental Illness.
There is indeed a dark dark place that only those who have experienced mental illness can know about. I wouldn’t wish it on the very worst.

Keeping the young man in daily prayer…

Barb

Calling on all of you prayer warriors once again, on behalf of Samuel.

Things have finally reached the expected tipping point and he was hospitalized this morning, which actually comes as somewhat of a relief to all involved.

Please continue to storm heaven for his healing.

Please pray for all of the professionals with whom he will cross paths, today and in the upcoming weeks and months.

And please continue to pray for his parents, especially, and his family who love him dearly.

It’s going to be a long, long road, & will only be possible with the prayers and support of his extended Christian family.

Thank you.
