From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

O Lord our God, grant that we may always find joy in serving you;
for if we constantly serve the one from whom all good things come,
it will give us perfect happiness for ever.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

God we ask that you protect and guide Sarah Palin . That she follows you first in all matters.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Short Responsory

All the kings of the earth will worship him.
– All the kings of the earth will worship him.
All the peoples will serve him.
– All the kings of the earth will worship him.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.
– All the kings of the earth will worship him.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Your hand rules over heaven and earth:
may the peoples of the earth and their rulers acknowledge your kingship.
– Christ, our sunrise, shine forth your light.

Praying with a Bible verse from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Mid-morning reading (Terce) 1 Kings 8:60-61 ©
May all the peoples of the earth come to know that the Lord is God indeed,
and that there is no other. May your hearts be wholly with the Lord our God,
following his laws and keeping his commandments as at this present day.

Team Sarah attended the March for Life on January 22 in Washington, DC. I had the pleasure of meeting this group since I was at the March for Life too. Here’s a photo from my blog showing a sign featuring Sarah and her son Trig, who has Down’s Syndrome:

This pro-life woman is once again coming under attack now that she’s joined FOX News, and could use some prayer support.

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Lord, keep your family always in your care.
Our only hope is in your divine grace:
keep us always under your protection.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God for ever and ever.
Amen.

May the Lord bless us and keep us from all harm; and may he lead us to eternal life.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of the Americas, Protectress of the Unborn, *pray for us! *
  • In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

From today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

The house of Israel trusts in the Lord;
he is their help and their shield.
The house of Aaron trusts in the Lord;
he is their help and their shield.
All who fear the Lord trust in the Lord;
he is their help and their shield.

The Lord has remembered us and he will bless us.
He will bless the house of Israel,
he will bless the house of Aaron –
he will bless all who fear the Lord.
