For someone to study/review math with

[invisiblewitnes]

Hi,

I am considering a return to majoring in mathematics. I have asked for some prayers for help in math. I wanted to ask for prayers to meet someone whom I can study and review and in general just enjoy math with. I am not very good at studying or reviewing math on my own. I am registered for Calculus 3 in the fall and if I can do well in that, differential equations in the spring. But if it be God’s will I would like to meet and strike up friendships with other people in my school and area, whom we can study and review and practice math skills and concepts and teach them to others. Any prayers will be helpful, as I always go to God first. Also, I have heard that St. Albert is a good saint to pray to for math related intentions. Thank you for any prayers for study friends and groups to form.

God bless you all. Amen.

A prayer from St. Thomas Aquinas, patron saint of students

Grant, O merciful God, that I may
ardently desire,
prudently examine,
truthfully acknowledge,
and perfectly accomplish
what is pleasing to You,
for the praise and glory of Your Name. Amen.

Praying for you. I also highly recommend the Khan Academy website ( khanacademy.org/ ) . It’s a free website with tons of short instructional videos on academics, as well as forums under the videos that allow you to ask questions. Their math videos have always been a huge help for me.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.
