Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular milikido, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. Thank you all for your continued prayers, It has been a full week since I stopped smoking and I am feeling great. The power is prayer is working and keeping the cravings at bay.

Milikido, how are you doing? I have stopped smoking myself. Today is one week for me. 🙂

It has now been over 2 months since stopped. I did have a couple of lapses (2 cigarettes) but the last time I felt terrible afterwards. Literally physically ill after smoking it, so that was the final nail in the coffin. Now I very rarely even think of smoking, and if I do I can easily switch it off by doing something. Doesn’t even take much, just getting up to get a glass of water or saying a prayer is enough to forget.

Stay strong, Lormar and put your trust in God. For me prayers were my most powerful method to not fall into temptation in the early days.

Thanks to all those who still offer up a prayer for those of us going through the process of stopping an addiction.
