We pray that your comforting and wise Holy Spirit will never be far from them as they spread their wings and find their way in the world. We pray that your grace may be on all their parents and provide special gifts of patience, fortitude, the ability to converse in a normal tone of voice and a loving manner, and the strength to be real parents with real standards formed on a strong faith in God and a real deep abiding love for these children. Lord, please protect these young adults as they make new friends, try new things, find their way in the world, and often make mistakes and bad choices. Please call them back to receive the unconditional love you have for them and help them to respond to you, even though your call is often like a whisper in a hurricane to a teenager. Please give them a generous heart for service and a deep interest in making things better for the least among us in your world.
