Do you know any book of the History Of the Anglican Church that you would recommend …thank you

I do not know any books, but I would also suggest looking up “the Church of England”.

I would also suggest reading Vernon Staley’s “The Catholic Religion,” a great Anglican primer from an Anglo-Catholic. Diarmaid MacCulloch’s book “Thomas Cranmer” as well as his book “The Reformation” are also great books that go in great depth about the English Reformation. You can also go to “Project Canterbury” on the internet for free and read a ton of Anglican divines…GKC is correct that the Moorman book is excellent, too. One of my first books was “A Study of Anglicanism” by Booty and Sikes.

The book the catholic religion is based on the history of the anglican church or some type of catechism ? ive seen it on ebay and there are two options , the one of that says The Catholic Religion 1894 and the other one that says only The Catholic Religion …im a little bit confused …thank you for the suggestions and God Bless
 
The Catholic Religion is a book that serves as an anglo-catholic-oriented catechism AND it contains a brief history of the English Reformation. It’s a great little book that is very user-friendly.

I got the book already …ill try to read it during this week …hopefully it will help me to understand the process of transformation of the Church of England …ill be ready then for discussions …
