The book the catholic religion is based on the history of the anglican church or some type of catechism ? ive seen it on ebay and there are two options , the one of that says The Catholic Religion 1894 and the other one that says only The Catholic Religion …im a little bit confused …thank you for the suggestions and God BlessI would also suggest reading Vernon Staley’s “The Catholic Religion,” a great Anglican primer from an Anglo-Catholic. Diarmaid MacCulloch’s book “Thomas Cranmer” as well as his book “The Reformation” are also great books that go in great depth about the English Reformation. You can also go to “Project Canterbury” on the internet for free and read a ton of Anglican divines…GKC is correct that the Moorman book is excellent, too. One of my first books was “A Study of Anglicanism” by Booty and Sikes.
