Today begins the last 3 week sitting of the Royal Commission into child abuse. For the Catholic Church.

All ArchBishops besides the Tasmanian Archbishop will give evidence.

Please pray for the clergy, religious, laity, and those affected, during these coming weeks.

Praying for your intentions and for Medical Doctors that may be seen in the future for it is nice to have already prayed for them (Our Lord knows who they are even if not born yet:wink:). Prayer of Apology and Thanksgiving because of human forgetfulness to say “thank You” to Our Lord. . . . 😉 🙂

Strengthen them in body and soul,

Of course Australia is a very secular country now…I suspect both the Australian public and the media will be biased in what is reported and what is believed by the public…especially as it involves the Catholic Church…forgive me if I’m wrong as I don’t live in Australia…actually I think the same would apply here in the US also…and probably other countries

Grievously, the reports are all true. This is the continuation of the Royal Commission. Victims and supporters, and the Church now, is working at ensuring it never occurs again.

There will be unreported incidents too. For any number of reasons, these people are not reporting. And are being encouraged too. It may all change if Cardinal Pell comes home to give his take on it.
