If you feel like it, please tell us the most beautiful thing about your faith to you, an experience you had, a ritual, a favorite Bible verse, anything that means so much to you about Jesus Christ and makes it so real for you.

Thank you!
I cherish receiving The Eucharist; knowing that I am receiving the Body and Blood, Soul and Devinity of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

I’m so happy to see all these people who love God posting here. All these souls, on fire with the love of the Lord Christ, in relationship with Him, hearts touched by Him.

This is beautiful. Thank you!

Randy,

I’d love to hear about what the Catholic Church means to you, if you’d be willing to share. What is the most wonderful thing that touches you personally about being a Catholic?

Thanks!

Hi,

My name is Matthew.

I am a Baha’i, but I wanted to say how impressed with the Catholic Faith’s sense of social justice and concern for the sanctity of life.

My dad is a Catholic, as are one of my sisters and her family, and my stepmother.

I hope it is OK for me to introduce myself here as this is probably where I will be contributing the most.

Thank you for hosting this forum,

Matthew
It would have to be the eucharist, which contains the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ. I could receive him everyday if I chose to (as long as I do not commit a mortal sin), and this would help my relationship with God, i.e., it enables me to ❤️ Him more.

I will be straightforward with you.

I came over at this time because I heard that there were some negative interactions between Baha’is and Catholics here. That hurt my heart very much because the Catholic Church is a beautiful church who loves the Lord Christ, and so much of my family is Catholic.

And my family and I never proselytize one another, and I wanted to try and help with the negative dynamic that was unfolding here if I could.

So yes, that is why I came now, but I plan to stay and contribute. There are more than a billion Catholics who love Christ and love God and work to serve His purposes. You all are God’s church, established by St. Peter, and I love your faith, your rituals, your service to the world of humanity in the name of Jesus.

And I see very clearly the Holy Spirit inspiring the leadership of the Catholic Church.

Thank you very much to every one of you for sharing.

I think it is wonderful that God reaches out to us to establish a relationship. I can see that all of you are touched with God’s love in your hearts.

That God loves us so much that He would suffer and die for us on the cross, that we might leave our sins, our hearts be touched by His love, become inspired to feel His love in our hearts and show it to all the world - this is the most beautiful thing indeed!

I will also share one of my favorite passages from the Bible. I will quote if from the Douay-Rheims Challoner version, I hope that works OK for everyone:

"For the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

For see your vocation, brethren, that there are not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble:

But the foolish things of the world hath God chosen, that he may confound the wise; and the weak things of the world hath God chosen, that he may confound the strong.

And the base things of the world, and the things that are contemptible, hath God chosen, and things that are not, that he might bring to nought things that are:

That no flesh should glory in his sight.

But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and justice, and sanctification, and redemption:

That, as it is written: He that glorieth, may glory in the Lord." - 1 Corinthians 25-31

That’s beautiful. I can feel how much you love Christ through your words.

Thank you!

Thank you for your honesty, however, I dont’ think there was any negative interactions per se, if by negative interactions you mean we were debating the authenticity of your “prophet”.
