Saint Joseph, we, your unworthy children, greet you. You are the faithful protector and intercessor of all who love and venerate you. You know that we have special confidence in you and that, after Jesus and Mary, we place all our hope of salvation in you, for you are especially powerful with God and will never abandon your faithful servants. Therefore, we humbly invoke you and commend ourselves, with all who are dear to us and all that belongs to us, to your intercession. We beg of you, by your love for Jesus and Mary, not to abandon us during life and to assist us at the hour of death.

Glorious Saint Joseph, spouse of the Immaculate Virgin, obtain for us a pure, humble, charitable mind, and perfect resignation to the Divine Will. Be our guide, our father, and our model through life that we may merit to die as you did in the arms of Jesus and Mary.

Loving Saint Joseph, faithful follower of Jesus Christ, we raise our hearts to you to implore your powerful intercession in obtaining from the Divine Heart of Jesus all the graces necessary for our spiritual and temporal welfare, particularly the grace of a happy death, and the special grace we now implore:

a return to health for the critically ill, and a peaceful death to the dying

Guardian of the Word Incarnate, we feel confident that your prayers in our behalf will be graciously heard before the throne of God. Amen.

***Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.

Amen***

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

Pray for us sinners
Now and at the hour of our deaths

May Christ Who was crucified for your sake
free you from excruciating pain.
May Christ Who died for you
free you from the death that never ends.
May Christ the Son of the living God,
set you in the ever green loveliness of His Paradise,
and may He, the true Shepherd
recognize you as one of His own.
May you see your Redeemer face to face
and standing in His presence forever,
may you see with joyful eyes
Truth revealed in all its fullness.
