For the Eternal Repose of Mother Angelica

Today, Easter Sunday, the beloved foundress of EWTN, Mother Angelica, went to her heavenly home. Mother Angelica founded EWTN in 1981, and stepped down in 2000. The Poor Clare nun had a stroke later that Christmas, and has suffered since then. She was 92.

Mother Angelica, 1923-2016.

Let us, here on CAF unite our prayers together in praying for the eternal repose of Mother Angelica.

Mother Angelica, the foundress of EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), passed away today at the age of 92. May she rest in peace.
 
I would also like to thank the Lord for his beautifu servant, Mother Angelica. I am grateful
for work she did to spread the word about His Love throughout the world.
I pray that the Lord gather her in His arms for eternal rest in Him.
 
I loved watching her on EWTN. So holy, but with a great sense of humor. She gave the world a wonderful gift.

and may perpetual light shine upon her.
May her soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed
through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

She was an amazing woman.
I met her once, teensy tiny, beautiful woman.
I suspect the stories will abound from all corners of the earth of how she helped so many rediscover their faith.
May she rest with the Angels.

Abundant prayers are being sent up for Mother Angelica; she has had a great and blessed impact on so many lives, including mine.

May God bless her richly for her dedicated work and loving kindness.

Praying for the eternal repose of her soul. If it were not for EWTN, I don’t think I would be here posting on CAF. I learned so much about my faith through this network. I’m sure I’m not the only one.
