Has anyone else here noticed any similar change in homilies at Mass?

Yes, I have noticed it - even in a parish attended overwhelmingly by university students. Maybe it’s just me, but it seemed to start picking up when the HHS Mandate came to the fore.

Our priest nearly every week ties (usually very subtle) into his homily a church teaching on social justice issues. We are really blessed to have him.
