My dear confessor & the pastor of the parish I attend is sick and it’s just the First Sunday of Advent! He’s a faithful and hardworking priest with a strong Marian devotion. Would you please pray for his health? And for the health of all the sick priests in our Church as well?

Hail Mary, Full of Grace,
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now and the hour of our death.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Fr. J). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Fr. J’s intentions’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Praying for Fr. J

Philippians 4:6-7 : Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our safeguard
against the wiles and wickedness
of the devil.
May God rebuke him,
we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly host,
by the power of God,
Cast into hell satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen. 🙏

Dear Jesus, Eternal High Priest and Glorious Physician, I ask in Your name that you please help heal Fr. J as soon as possible so he can guide his flock through Advent and celebrate Christmas with them in good health. And please also give him all the assistance he needs while he is recovering so things don’t fall behind. Thank you in advance. Amen.

Holy Mary, St. Joseph, St. Luke, St. Raphael, St. Padre Pio and St. John Vianney, please intercede for this intention. Thank you. Amen.

Hail Mary…

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen.

Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your Dearly Beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.

For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world. x10

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Remember,
O Most Gracious Virgin Mary,
that never was it known
that anyone who
fled to thy protection,
implored thy help,
or sought thy intercession
was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence,
I fly onto thee,
O Virgin of Virgins,
my mother.
To thee do I call,
before thee I stand,
sinful and sorrowful.
O Mother of the Word Incarnate,
despise not my petitions,
but in thy mercy
hear and answer me.
Amen.

MY Lord and God, you know how much we need our priests. We have lost too many. Please restore his health, and guide him in Your ways. Amen.

Prayers continued.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord,
and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior,
for he has looked with favor on his lowly servant.
From this day all generations will call me blessed,
the Almighty has done great things for me,
and holy is his name.
He has mercy on those who fear him
in every generation.
He has shown the strength of his arm,
he has scattered the proud in their conceit.
He has cast down the mighty
and has lifted up the lowly.
He has filled the hungry with good things,
and the rich he has sent away empty.
He has come to the help of his servant Israel,
for he has remembered his promise of mercy,
the promise he made to our fathers,
to Abraham and his children forever.
Amen.
