Dear God, I place this difficult matter into Your hands with the full confidence that You will help and guide us no matter what the outcome may be. Please bring us all to greater love and understanding of all people, including those with whom we disagree, whether on this forum or elsewhere in our lives, so that we all might eventually be one in You, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our God please protect the Sacrament of Marriage in our world and in Australia.
If legal outcomes are not according to biblical definition of marriage, please inspire that the respectful freedom of conscience of private citizens and business persons and the Church are given safeguards so that they are not penalized by such decisions.
Too often the rights of the minority trample over the rights of the majority.
We entrust all things to Your loving mercy

What are you talking about? Roseeurekacross posted a prayer intention that SSM law will not be passed in court if it is God’s will. This is a Catholic forum, and SSM is not recognized by the Catholic Church.

Obtain from the Heart of Jesus that the same sex marriage law not be passed in Australia if it be God’s will. Teach me to allow Jesus to penetrate and possess my whole being so completely that my life, too, may radiate His light and love to others.
