Having just read Spe Salvi, I truly think Pope Benedict has an incredibly deep understanding of the crisis of both modernism and modern Christianity.

I pray that the papacy of the Holy Father will endure for many years to come, that he might continue to bring these insights to the attention of the universal Church and that the Lord will protect his health and safety in the upcoming trip to the USA.

*Our Father Who art in heaven,
Hallowed by Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us,
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil,

For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, forever.

Keeping The Holy Father in daily prayer for all his needs and hopes…I think we have been blest with another saintly Pope and may The Lord grant him a long life and strength and inspiration…
