For the homeless to find shelter

Hi,

I just wanted to ask for prayers for the homeless. Please pray that everyone finds adequate shelter, and nourishment and medical care. I was thinking about how scary it would be for me if I were homeless and so impoverished that I couldn’t eat or go to the doctor. Thank you for all prayers for the homeless.

I don’t who is the patron saint of broken bones, but I’m praying for a swift recovery.

Joining you in prayers for the homeless. I think of the homeless often when it’s so cold here in Iowa the temp has been down to 25 below .

I am definitely praying for the homeless that we as a community may assist them with their needs in order to help get them back on track.

Prayers for the Homeless, Migrants, and Refugees

Compassionate God, make your loving presence felt to the homeless refugees, torn from home, family and everything familiar. Warm, especially, the hearts of the young, the old, and the most vulnerable among them. Help them know that you accompany them as you accompanied Jesus, Mary, and Joseph in their exile to Egypt. Lead refugees to a new home and a new hope, as you led the Holy Family to their new home in Nazareth. Open our hearts to receive them as our sisters and brothers in whose face we see your son, Jesus.

Father of the poor, God of love, you made us all your children; we praise You and thank You. Fill us with a sense of justice. Help us in your work, to take the side of the homeless, the struggling, the lowly, to defend the newcomer, to welcome the stranger. Help us now to befriend the friendless, protect the weak children, and work for the rights of all. Lord, on our journey home, bring us together in peace, in justice, and in love, through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Praying hard for your intention. I also pray for the animals that have to endure the cold.
 
Praying for the well being & safety of all those who are homeless. May God watch over them.

Bless the Homeless

Bless the homeless, this day and everyday, keep them from physical and emotional harm, fill their hearts with hope for the future and for today, comfort the homeless as they walk their difficult paths. May I know that anyone, even me, can be homeless.

Bless the homeless with enough food to sustain them, with enough warmth to shield them from the elements, with the power to wrestle personal demons and win, with the will to go on, and build their lives again.

May hope touch each homeless heart, spirit and life, let the kindness of others bring lasting benefits, bring freedom from addiction, illness and misery, open their humanity to include & embrace themselves.

Bless the homeless with self acceptance and love, spark their imaginations with belief in the future, bringing the possibility of a better life, a safer life and a more secure life.
We ask this in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
