I’ve been passing out those dollar deals canned goods to the homeless and I highly urge sacking up parcels of (green) beans and corn for a perfect protein; canned chicken; black olives; and they always need soap and water and old rain coats or a trash sack for rain shelter. I am blessed to have a homeless lady (obsessive walker) sleep at my rehab project (please pray for that!) and thank all those at work who have donated socks and food and clothes. Bless you, Patty, and help us all work in harmony to aid and comfort all the needy without enabling any negative behavior in any of us!

King of Kings, You had no place to call home. Reign and rule in the lives of the homeless, and as with John Paul II’s vision when visiting New York of the old lady walking past unwelcoming Catholic churches in the snow with her cat, let us specially turn parish resources and facilities, not into paragons of heartless bureaucracy and interior decoration, but into treasure houses protecting that greatest asset of the Church, those precious creatures in need. Make us wise as serpents and harmless as doves and bring Your abundant life and peace to us all. Accept our highest praise and humblest thanks, King of Kings. AMEN
