The temperature where I currently live is 32 degrees Fahrenheit 0 degrees Celsius and I live near an area that has a very large homeless population. I am sure there are homeless people in much colder areas than the subtropical climate I live in. I ask that y’all join me in prayer for such people

Praying for the homeless in your area, and all over the world. New York Governor Cuomo signed an Executive Order Sunday requiring homeless people throughout the state to be removed from the streets and brought to a shelter when the temperature is below freezing. The police provide transportation to a shelter.

whose earthly life began in the poverty of a stable
and ended in the pain and isolation of the cross:
we hold before you those who are homeless and cold
especially in this bitter weather.
