I staggered into the new doctor’s office today after a horrendous week including an ER visit, a new anti-depressant and continuing nausea, low pulse rate, weakness.

She turned out to be the kindest woman I have ever met. Her staff was kind and compassionate. It turns out she did her residency at the hospital from whence my incarceration at state began, near here, and she is about my age. and I think she tried to tell me that she remembered me from then!

I felt like such a monster. The fear over the infestation I have suffered through doctors who refused to acknowledge it (sorry to get gross but this has been going on for so long…) turned me into a paranoiac. I have used the creams and have much work ahead of me to clear the apartment, clothing, etc.; but after letting the creams work for several hours and taking two doses of a strong antibiotic (my wounds were turning green and then black) I am feeling like a human being again.

I do not know what her faith is but she is a deep soul. She was even able to reassure me about my son.

Thank you for your prayers, and thank you, St. Jude.

I haven’t beaten this thing yet but have faith, through the Lord, that she will be able to help me to get the best possible outcome, whatever the will of the Lord may be. For now, I have PHYSICAL peace and a little peace of mind for the first time in…

dying again, the doctor can’t help, I applied the cream, the bugs are already coming back, cuz I can’t keep up with cleaning, my mother came to help, and it was very, very good of her, but we just don’t get along. Have called my father, who cheered me, but it’s just been too long a struggle to stay alive through sleepless nights and things unspeakable and the side effects of so many pills, now for unexplained nausea and low pulse. I feel too sick to go for the blood work and to the cardiologist and don’t have any help. My son needs to live his own life now, he has ALWAYS attended, God bless and keep him if I die. Js too ill to live, trying to stay alive but don’t have the strength. I am only 51.
Oh Lord,
please help all those
who feel pain

and no matter

Tying to stay alive. Have bloodwork to go to in the morning. Slept all day. Don’t know if God will pull me out of this or not, but I know that he entrusted me with this life to live it well and that right now what I have to do to do that, is to stay alive, alive to the challenges of dying, if that’s what this is, to FORGIVE for I am struggling with this tonight.

It is so reassuring to come to this site.

The Lord seems to be pulling me through. My father helped me yesterday with a restorative phone call. Through the help of St. Jude I am clearing my issues with my family and all who have hurt me, my father gave me a little gumption back, I had fallen so far (like a popular Christian song says); after a terrible night I did make it to the bloodwork appointment, taking down all my recent blog posts temporarily, I crashed for five hours and woke up without nausea or faintness. I was just so exhausted and fatigued from stress and anxiety and SO MANY MEDs.

I received my new card for my new doctor; I fell out of care in the midst of the panic move from Easton; and was switching around my meds without guidance.

She will see me as soon as she gets the bloodwork. I have NEVER had a real PCP, somebody I could trust and talk to, and I trust the Lord led me to her to get my medical issues straightened out as she is very kind and seems to understand me. There ARE underlying medical issues which have been always treated as “primarily psych” and have gone unattended all these years.

In recovery for now at least from this recent bout. It has made me sensitive to the issues of the dying and I will be prepared to attend to my parents as they continue to age and am much more sensitive to the elderly.

For continuing strength, for the salvation of all at the hour of their death and for the power of God’s LOVE for all who are struggling with these issues. Amen.
