I pray for the safety of all mentally and emotially ill but especially and well being especially of those mentally and emotianlly ill who are in prison, state hospitals, psychiatric wards and halfway houses. I pray that there caregivers and or superiors do not abuse them or overmedicate them. I pray that they are getting only the medicine that they need (if applicable) to help them with their illnesses. I pray that all the mentally and emotianlly ill come to know our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and rely on him through fellowship with others and through prayer. I pray that the the emotionally and mentally ill have humane environments to live in with a good social network of people who love them. I pray that those mentally and emotionally ill who are unable to work or be financial independent know that Jesus still loves them regardless, and that they can be a servant of the Lord through their love of the Lord through his commandments. I pray that the peace of the Lord be with all especially the mentally and emotionally ill.

Lord Jesus Christ, You have willed that St. Dymphna should be invoked by thousands of clients as the patroness of nervous and mental disease and have brought it about that her interest in these patients should be an inspiration to and an ideal of charity throughout the world. Grant that, through the prayers of this youthful martyr of purity, those who suffer from nervous and mental illness everywhere on earth may be helped and consoled. .

Be pleased to hear the prayers of St. Dymphna and of Your Blessed Mother. Give those whom I recommend the patience to bear with their affliction and resignation to do Your divine will. Give them the consolation they need and especially the cure they so much desire, if it be Your will. Through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

Loving God,

Please hear the persistent prayers and petitions of your loving children in this intention. Please bless and have mercy on all your people suffering from all sorts of mental diseases, and especially depression, panic/anxiety attacks, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, ocd, Alzheimers, and related maladies. Please help them not to lose hope, to maintain a strong faith, to follow the remedies and improvement strategies of their medical care givers, and cure them if it be your Holy will.
