I don’t believe in the doctrine of OSAS, but i’m pretty sure that one who did would say that person was never saved to begin with as a common theory among those who hold this doctrine is that those who fall away (in Catholic speak, those who commit mortal sin) were never saved to begin with.
To the contrary I believe (Catholic doctrine teaches) that we are saved/justified/sanctified through faith (an act of grace) but then can lose that salvation through mortal sin which is not cured through repentance and confession.
