For those who incessantly malign the Holy Father, for those who call for disobedience and schism, and for those who malign the very office of the Pope.

V. Let us pray for Francis, our Pope.
R. May the Lord preserve him, give him life, make him blessed upon the earth, and hand him not over to the will of his enemies.
Let us pray. O God, the Pastor and Ruler of all the faithful, look down, in your mercy, upon your servant, Francis, whom you have appointed to preside over your Church; and grant, we beseech you, that both by word and example, he may edify all those under his charge; so that, with the flock entrusted to him, he may arrive at length unto life everlasting. Through Christ our Lord.
R. Amen.

I’ll pray for that! Pope Francis brought me back to the church (well influenced me quite a bit…) after taking a 20 years hiatus…

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Lord, Jesus Christ, please protect our holy
Pope Francis, and bless his intentions.
Please Jesus, help us end the prejudice
that people openly direct toward your
Church, and help us endure it with
patience, love, and humility, through
your holy and precious name,
Amen
