That was The Profession Of faith. In theory, an RCIA Candidate with my background should be able to recite that at any Sunday Mass to be admitted to the Church. In theory. (See the link in my signature.):crying:

I thought about your thread just before Mass today. I was looking around the Church thinking how great and grand it is and looked at all the statues of Saints and how holy and great they must be. I thought about how overwhelming it must be to people coming into the Church who were not born and raised as Catholics.

I thought perhaps the reason why it doesn’t happen that people can go to Mass and profess faith like that and be received is that the Catholic Church desires to make sure that people seeking to enter into the Catholic Church actually know what they are getting into and so they have RCIA.

I’m a cradle Catholic and I attended RCIA classes to know what my faith is about because my catechesis was very poor as a child and a young adult.

You can’t wait can you?🙂 Well everything comes to he who waits.

I’ll keep you in my prayers up until Easter Vigil and your reception into the Catholic Faith. I’m sure you do but would you say a daily prayer for the Pope and for Peace in the World, thank you.
