Dear all,
In late 2015 my mother died, in 2017 both of my in-laws died, and about a week ago my husband’s uncle, to whom we were close, passed away fairly suddenly from a fast-moving cancer.
This morning (about an hour ago) I got a call from the police that my husband apparently dropped dead last night on the steps of our property in a different state from the one I am in. This was very sudden and unexpected. He spent most of yesterday with me and he did not seem sick. I asked if he wanted to stay overnight and he said no, he wanted to get back to the other property. Apparently he got home and just collapsed before he got into the house.
My husband was not in great physical shape and was on medication for a long time for chronic high blood pressure. At this point it’s suspected that he had a stroke.
I will not be posting here for a while obviously, except maybe to pray for people if I’m able to do that.
Hug your loved ones, you never know when the Lord will call.
(P.S. he did not get around to converting before he passed away, so I have to place my trust in the Lord that he went to heaven. He was a very good husband. )
Signing off for now.
