For the repose of the soul of Tommy who has just died

A friend of the family Tommy aged 77yrs has just died. He received anointing of the sick and has been visited by priests and nuns whilst in the hospice these past few days.He had been suffering a rare form of Parkinson’s disease and was told 10 years ago that he had 6 years at most to live. His wife has suffered enormously caring for him and dealing with family troubles. Please spare a prayer for his soul and for his grieving widow and all the children and grandchildren who are grieving.Thankyou and God bless

may perpetual light shine upon him
and may he rest in peace Amen

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen
