Hi please pray for the repose of my uncle Robert R. who passed away. He had a bad liver. He was an alcoholic and drug user. He lived a very fast, hard and rough life. A priest was taken to him when he was in the hospital and asked/agreed to receive the anointing of the sick…that was a couple days before he passed. Please pray for his soul as he was a very lost soul and had not been a practicing Catholic for majority of his life.

I know how heartbreaking it is to watch loved ones destroy their life with drugs/alcohol, as I have family members who also suffer from addictions. I will keep him in my prayers.

Mary ann R, thank you so much. Yes, it is very heartbreaking. I have and have had many family members on my mom’s side addicted to drugs or alcohol. Many have died because of this. Their bodies have just given up and they pass. I will be praying for you family too and all you suffer from this.

OH my heart aches for people who suffer in body due to suffering in their mind. I ask God’s mercy for all of those who continue to suffer from demons and cannot break free.
