For the soul of a young man killed in Syria

I donate to an organization that helps abandoned animals, and also some children, in the vicinity of Aleppo. Bombs are always going off, destroying cars and people’s homes, and the workers have had some close calls.

Yesterday a young man helping to feed abandoned animals in a destroyed city was killed just a couple hours after he finished helping. His name was Anas. He was a handsome young man and a photographer.

Please if you would, pray for his soul.

Eternal rest grant unto Anas, o Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

O sweet mother Mary, you knew the sadness
of mourning those your heart loved most:
