Retired South African Rugby legend Joost Van Der Westhuisen passed away today at age 45 from motor neuron disease.

This is heartbreaking as he was a hero to many South Africans, both for his achievements on the rugby field and for his courageous struggle with a truly horrific disease.

Please pray for his soul and for his family in this dark time.
