Maureen Davies, who was for many years the Church Secretary at my parish, passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.

She was a wonderful person and very devout woman, and she was very helpful and compassionate in helping me to process all the documents I needed to be confirmed in the Church.

Please offer a prayer for her and for her family in this difficult time.
