For the Soul of my friend killed in a car accident

Please join me in praying for the soul of my friend Neil, and for his family who are grieving. He was killed in a car accident last night. He was crossing a local highway with the green light when a semi truck blew a red light and broadsided him. He leaves behind his wife and five kids.

May God grant his family and friends peace of mind and heart, and may he rest in the arms of Jesus forever.

hold the sorrowful, help those sick, in pain or suffering,
comfort those needing peace, console the lonely,
assist the lost or confused, guard the unborn,
protect those in danger, guide us from evil,

commemoration experience the might of your assistance.

James I’m so sorry about your sudden loss of your friend, and for his family’s grief. It is a sad tragedy. I can only imagine what his wife and children are going through.
Lord please protect them, emotionally, spiritually, and materially.
Lord please have mercy on Neil’s soul.
 
Remembering the repose of Neil’s soul in my daily prayers. May the Lord grant comfort to his wife, their five children, the rest of his family, James and all the friends who grieve for him. God bless them all. :console:

Father Almighty, I also lift up to you, Neil’s wife and children, his relatives, his loved ones, his friends (esp. James_OPL) who are grieving his sudden demise. Please wrap Your arms around them & give them comfort in their sorrow and grief. Grant them all the grace they need at this time. May they be enveloped by support and love from each other and from others. I pray, Lord God, that You provide for the needs (temporal and spiritual) of those Neil left behind. I likewise pray, Lord, for the truck driver. I humbly ask that You forgive his transgression. May he be truly sorry for what happened. May he be able to make amends. Have mercy on everyone involved, Lord God. All these I ask in the name of Jesus, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary. AMEN.

James, so very sorry for your loss. Accept my prayers for Neil and his family…

O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful, grant to the soul of Thy departed servant Neil the full remission of all his sins, that through our pious supplications he may obtain that pardon which he has always desired, Thou who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
