May the Lord bless and keep the victims of our national politics. May those who are affected financially find relief and compassion as victims of political hubris. Mary, Mother of God, St. Joseph, and the host of other saints, pray for those not being paid, and for those not doing enough to ensure their being paid because of hubris…let us all remember the Judgement of the Nations in Matthew 26, and treat these victims as we would treat Jesus.

Thank you. My son in law with four kids and a stay at home wife is afederal worker. He is a pawn in all this.
I too pray for all involved.
 
Mother Mary and St. Joseph, lift the prayers of intercession to the family of Mi_Rose, and let them endure these hard times. Also, lift prayers to allow politicians to show compassion to the families made “collateral damage” in this political and humanitarian crisis our nation, and the world, is trying to come to grips with!

Father bless these victims and help them find a way during this troubling time to maintain income. May a resolution come soon from both parties involved. In your name, Jesus amen!
 
Dear Jesus, in Your name please help everyone adversely affected by the government shutdown and please guide our leaders to a solution soon, so people can go back to work. Thank you in advance. Amen.

especially all harmed by the government shutdown. May your example
of holiness inspire kindness and reconciliation among all people.

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular (the victims of the hubris of our naitonal leaders), and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
