Lord, we lift up the intentions for all who are entering the early stages of adulthood, that they may find their way in the world and be led by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit to find the vocation and the calling you have prepared especially for each one. Lord, the challenges for young adults are enormous in this day and the competition for their attention and their time is fierce. Please help each one of these young people to find their calling in whatever future plan you have for their life, be it college, work, the religious life, Peace Corps, or many other possibilities. Please also help each one to keep a firm foundation in their lives through prayer and love for your people, and through love of You, O Lord. Please comfort and bless all who care for, provide for, and lead these young people during these formative times, that we might speak and share Your words and Your plans in the way You would have us do for each of these young people.
