This is interesting because when I was young we didn’t say all that at the end of the Lord’s prayer at the Latin mass, but when I went to Protestant Churches they did so I thought we took it from them.
The priest did say a response but it was much shorter.
The priest would say:
Per eumdem Dominum nostrum Jesum Christum Filium tuum. Qui tecum vivit et regnat in unitate Spiritus Sancti Deus. Per omnia saecula saeculorum.
The translation in English is:
Through the same Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our Lord. Who with Thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost liveth and reigneth God, World without end.
The server answered Amen.
