For those abused in nursing homes

Lord Jesus, please send aid and comfort to those in nursing homes who are at the mercy of unkind people. Please soften the hearts of those people who instill fear in the hearts of the helpless. Send your Mother to protect them and comfort them in their terror.

The Moderators may close/lock it if only two or three (2-3) people post on it. I have been praying and posting at it b/c it is such a needed prayer for our elders — and then us when we get old.
 
I have no problem in seeing or reading a similar post occ. It is a good reminder. I will say that most rest homes and nursing home are pretty good and diligent in hiring good people and do their best to protect their residents. Like all businesses and institutions, occ. a bad egg slips through. I will pray for this cause. Peace.
 
How horrible to think about. Lord, please come to the rescue of those too weak to protect themselves from the cruel and wicked on this Earth.
