Dear God please have pity on the desperation that so many unemployed persons experience, as so many people are losing their jobs…and their businesses…and their homes. Please help the unemployed to find work.
Have mercy Jesus in these serious issues for lives and relationships.
Please help families and individuals to survive economically and emotionally.
Jesus please encourage an improvement in the economy so that unemployment issues and financial difficulties ease.
Our Mother, St. Michael the Archangel, their guardian angels and patron saints, please pray for them to find work, stability, and satisfaction in their work. Please keep their families safe and united.

Dear Father, had not Joseph been able to find work, first before his betrothal to Mary, then again as a refugee in Egypt, and later again, in Nazareth, Your beloved Son Jesus and His holy Mother would have been without necessities. Please be mindful of this in this urgent need for income for those who are unemployed.
St Joseph please pray for unemployed people that efforts to find appropriate and meaningful work will quickly be successful.
Blessed Mother who would have had no food to put on the table for the divine Son and your husband, please pray for the unemployed with all the concern with which You prayed at the wedding feast of Cana.

Jesus who lived amongst us as human person with human needs, please have mercy on those who have lost jobs, and incomes, and are seeking employment.
Jesus, in Your early life you needed Joseph to find work in order to support You and Your Mother. He had to leave the work he supported Mary with during her pregnancy, to then find work in a foreign country where he didn’t even know the language; and then again when he took Your family to Nazareth. Later, others supported You by their charity, during Your public mission.
In Your understanding of human needs, please grant our prayers for reliable work and income for unemployed persons in their urgent needs.

God forgive those who by their mismanagement and greed caused the economic difficulties that much of the world is now enduring, with the great anxiety and suffering it causes so many individuals and families.

Have mercy on these who are struggling with the most basic necessities of shelter, food, health care, education, and bills, including the ill, aged, the unemployed, the homeless, and refugees.
They are so numerous Jesus, yet please help each one to find new hope and new futures.
Jesus, born in poverty, far from home, with Joseph having to find work in a foreign land with a foreign language in order to save Your infant life from murder by the Jewish king.
And then when the family returned to settle in Nazareth where once again he needed to find work in a new pace, Your family again experienced poverty. In your final years You lived on the charitable donations of others.
Yes, You knew poverty Jesus. Please have mercy on all who struggle in jobless and impoverished situations.
