I see people driving in an extremely risky manner and endangering both themselves and others almost every day. Though the world will tell us only to despise and yell at them and then tell everyone about the awful experience we had on the road today, let us pray for the many people who do not act responsibly on the road.

Praying. But I would also say let us pray for those who struggle to understand the rules of the road. That is more frustrating to see imo, especially with young teenagers or the elderly. It really scares me seeing an elderly person doing 45 on a 65, or seeing a teenager turning left on red.

I am all for returning to horseback (jk)

Amen Billy112!!
I was one of those who had a devil-may-care attitude
when driving, but thanks be to God that I didn’t run
anybody over or get into a serious accident.
I pray for those who drive dangerously, that they will
come to their senses and drive SAFELY for their good
and the GOOD OF OTHERS!!

Our Father, who is in heaven,
Your name be held holy,
Your kingdom come,
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses as
we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Praying for then and for potential victims of motor vehicle accidents.

benedícta tu in muliéribus,

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying.

When my daughter and I see this while driving we have gotten in the habit of saying an Our Father for these folks on the spot.

praying that the dangerous drivers will realize the responsibility of operating a motor vehicle and that they need to control the vehicle they are driving so as not to endanger others on the road. they must realize they can ruin the rest of their lives as well as the lives of others.

Praying for this! It causes me a lot of anxiety and stress I sometimes really dislike driving!

God bless xx

Prayer for Safe Travel

In the name of God I go on this journey. May God the Father be with me, God the Son protect me, and God the Holy Ghost be by my side.

Lord, be our guide and our protector
on the journey we are about to take.
Watch over us.
Protect us from accidents.
Keep us free from harm to body and soul.
Lord, support us with Your grace when we are tired.
Help us be patient in any trouble which may come our way.
Keep us always mindful of Your presence and love.
Amen.
